I don't think it is. I can distinguish the top row from the meddle row, but 248 and 250 look the same and 245 is only just barely darker. The bottom row looks the same to me as the middle row.

As for the shadows, I can see a difference between all the blocks even in a bright room.

I hope this does not have negative effect on my artwork. I've had enough trouble trying to figure out what colors to use.
