the cubs are the total focal point and everything is crystal clear! nothing is blurry!

Well composed, and with both their eyes open it's a very eye appeasing shot. Great focus. Everything on the cubs that needs to be in focus is. Paw pads, eyes, lil tuffs of fluff, and then the foreground/lower rock is just enough out of the way that it dosen't negatively impact the image. Full technique and vision stars!
I took away one star for impact only for the unavoidable colour palette in the picture (all being sandy colours) but the cubs stand out in their yellowness so 4/5 there for impact.
Originality you loose a star cause you do A LOT of lion images. But cubs like this, all cub cuddly you get the remaining 4/5!
very awesome shot, lacks BAM impact, but is very appealing viewing and cuteness wise.
